Wendy Lee is a pediatric occupational therapist who works at the intersection of childhood, community, and possibility. With over 20 years in the field, her clinical roots were formed in settings serving children with neuromuscular, genetic, and developmental conditions, where she practiced through trauma-informed, sensory-based, and relationship-centered approaches. She has always believed participation to be a doorway into confidence, identity, and belonging.
This belief carried her across borders. Through Inspire To Do, Wendy has designed experiential programs globally, in China, Peru, India, and Brazil that connect children with disabilities to sport, culture, and community life.
These programs invite children to witness others like themselves and to participate directly, expanding their sense of who they can be and where they belong. She has also extended her work to refugee communities, supporting families in rebuilding safety, connection, and identity in the aftermath of displacement.
Wendy’s love of culture, movement, food, music, and travel shaped her belief that children learn through joy, connection, and participation. She believes that when children are given the chance to experience the fullness of life, it can spark dreams and new possibilities. Inspire To Do became the place where her clinical work and her global heart came to life.

Jackie English Byrne had a 15 year career in food and beverage marketing, where she most recently was the coffee and espresso marketing manager at Starbucks headquarters in Seattle. Jackie's role there included strategic planning and management of the then $1 billion coffee category.
While in Seattle, Jackie and her husband Bob adopted their son Jack as an infant through a domestic open adoption. While thrilled to have Jack in their family, the realization remained that not every child they encountered in their adoption search would be adopted. Jackie's passion lies in finding ways to bring at least some of the fundamentals that families offer (love, belonging, security and hope) to those children that may not get the chance to experience family life.
Jackie holds an M.B.A., and a B.S. in business from Golden Gate University. She has lived in San Francisco for over 20 years and now spends her time on her family, travel, and real estate activities.
